Nancy Craun is the Founder and President of Root to Table, Ltd. With 30 years of experience in the travel and hospitality industry, Nancy leads Root to Table by overseeing strategic initiatives, organizational development, and partnerships. She founded Taste of Blue Ridge as a for-profit entity in 2017 and guided its transition to a 501(c)(3) organization. Her entrepreneurial skills are demonstrated through her ownership of an event planning business, a marketing and branding business, and three travel industry marketing brands: Go Blue Ridge Travel, Virginia Kids Trail, and Taste of Blue Ridge. She holds a B.F.A. from Ohio State University and a Master of Education from Virginia Commonwealth University, where she also served as an instructor. Under Nancy’s leadership, Root to Table and Taste of Blue Ridge have secured multiple grants from the Virginia Tourism Corporation to promote culinary travel.
