Join us for a Culinary Journey on Sunday where you’ll get to meet many Chefs, Farmers, and Beverage Makers, try their creations and hear their stories. Monday is a strategic “Think Thinkwhere you’ll get to learn from our speakers, moderators, and their panels in a high engagement environment centered around business partnerships.

“A Celebration of Female Empowerment and Culinary Excellence.”

Experience a deeper appreciation for your food, the people behind it, and the stories that make it special – all while expanding your professional network. Take the opportunity to attend both events for Root to Table’s Salute to Women in Culinary and Agriculture!. Your day begins with a food festival showcasing women from Virginia, West Virginia, and Maryland who embrace a career in culinary and agriculture. Enjoy a sparkling wine and charcuterie experience and then move into the large ballroom for an amazing food festival embracing chefs, farmers, food artisans, and friends. Over the course of the afternoon, in three adjoining rooms take part in discussions on “How to Eat Root to Table at Home” , the new agricultural trend of “Homesteading”, and the “Influence of our Farm Markets on our Community Culture.”

Then that evening attend a private networking function enjoying a cocktail, good food, and one-on-one conversation with the participants. You can book a room at the George Washington Hotel and be ready to enjoy a continental breakfast before attending the Salute to Women Symposium on Monday.

Early Registration Special end February 15th. This event ticket includes the Sunday Evening Networking Party at the Half Note.

Is there an ID or minimum age requirement? Guests must be at least 18 years of age to attend. Younger culinary enthusiasts will be permitted upon request but there is no discount on pricing.

Can I attend with a restrictive diet / Food Allergies? This varies with each event. For more help, you can email Nancy Craun at grow@roottotable.org or call 540-533-1853.

Is this event kid / family-friendly? This event is mainly aimed at an adult audience. If you wish to bring a child, please note there is no child discount and a child must pay for a seat.

What's the refund policy? Refunds will not be made after March 7th. Sellouts are likely so we do create a wait-list and can sometimes sell your tickets for you or you may transfer them to a friend. However, this is not guaranteed.
