2021 – A Year to Rebuild and Grow!
A new year post-pandemic saw the Root To Table Culinary Series reach new audiences, new chefs, and a new venue. Off the the success of 2020’s “A Taste of Freedom” event, Root to Table Diners once again gathered on the grounds of the Bavarian Inn Resort & Brewing Co. This event was the 3rd Root to Table hosted by the Bavarian and saw growth from 40 guests in 2019 to over 120 guests in 2021! Foodies enjoyed four food stations where they had the chance to speak to the Chefs about their dish, passions, and “roots” in the Blue Ridge.
To end the year, we held one of our most popular events EVER which sold out almost a month early. Root to Table enthusiasts had the chance to visit the prestigious Restaurant at Patowmack Farm in Lovettsville, VA. Chef Vincent invited 3 close friends to join him in cooking for the event and this has become an annual event to end the Root to Table Culinary Series.
