A celebration of female leadership, innovation, and regional food excellence.
Join Root to Table as we honor the powerful contributions of women in the culinary and agricultural industries. Set against the vibrant backdrop of Hope Flower Farm’s Flower Festival, this immersive experience brings together farmers, chefs, artisans, and community members for a day of connection, learning, and celebration.
In recognition of 2026 as the Year of the Female Farmer, this event shines a spotlight on female-founded farms, food and beverage artisans, chefs, and makers whose work continues to shape the future of regional food and agriculture.
Event Overview
Throughout the day, guests will experience:
- A celebratory welcome with bubbles courtesy of Rappahannock Cellars
- Live music throughout the event provided by Hope Flower Farm & Winery
- An exclusive floral workshop and seasonal design demonstration led by internationally renowned floral designer Holly Chapple, featuring hands-on inspiration and expert floral design techniques
- Interactive engagement opportunities, including raffle prizes and vendor experiences
- Educational seminars, panel discussions, and meaningful conversations led by women leaders in culinary arts, agriculture, winemaking, floral design, and entrepreneurship
Marketplace & Makers
Guests will have the opportunity to explore a curated marketplace featuring female farmers, chefs, food artisans, beverage makers, and local creatives. The event is designed to highlight women-led businesses and create meaningful connections between guests, growers, makers, and culinary leaders.
Featured participants will include a thoughtful mix of farmers, chefs, and artisans, each representing excellence, resilience, and innovation within our regional food economy.
